MEET OUR PASTOR

Rev. Debreita Taylor
Founder and Pastor

Pastor Brei, as she is affectionately called, recalls declaring her salvation experience at five years of age and receiving the baptism and infilling of the Holy Spirit at age twelve. She was born and raised in Orlando, Florida to a family of strong Christian believers, of which her mother has served as her spiritual mentor and ministry forerunner. A graduate of the University of Central Florida, Pastor Brei was biblically, doctrinally and spiritually educated in both the Baptist and Full Gospel Pentecostal Church. She has studied under the Reformed Theological Seminary, Evangelical Teacher Training Association, Institute of Christian Education & Development, World Evangelism School of Ministry, and Christian International School of Ministry.

She began her first ministry by organizing a small unassuming group of peers for Morning Prayer in her high school. After acknowledging her call to preach the gospel she was commissioned as a Missionary in January of 1988. She was then ordained to the ascensions gift office of Pastor in May of 1989.

Pastor Brei has carried out her call of ministry by serving as Youth Minister, Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor, Co-Pastor, Pastor of Family Life Development and the Worshipping Arts. She has held the position of academic educator for the concentration of Worship & the Arts in the Perfecting Schools of Ministry Ministerial Training Institute. Pastor Brei has ministered in the private Christian school sector as kindergarten, elementary and middle school teacher as well as principal. She stands as the founder of Upright Living Evangelistic Ministry. The work of an evangelist has enabled her to minister across many denominational lines for over ten years. Feeling a strong passion to reach the marginalized to share the unconditional love of God has birthed in Pastor Brei the present day work of Oasis Fellowship Ministries. This ministry of radical inclusivity is a ministry of reconciliation according to 2 Corinthians 5:18, “And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation”. It is her desire to reach out to people in the corners, the obscure places, that the end time harvesters have passed by. With a clear voice she declares Rev 22:17, “ And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” It is our duty to go into the obscure places and spread the gospel because God through Christ Jesus has made us all accepted.
