What We Believe

Oasis Fellowship Ministries acknowledges God as Father, sovereign, omnipotent, omniscient, and omnipresent, the maker of heaven and earth. Jesus Christ is the image of God made flesh come as the Son of God, Redeemer & Savior of the world. We believe in the presence and power of the Holy Spirit, which is the indwelling Spirit of God in the earth as comforter and guide to them that believe. We believe the Bible to be the Word of God in Scriptures. We believe in the proceeding word of God. We believe the Church is the Body of Christ in the earth. We affirm the responsibility of the Church to declare the gospel of the love of God through salvation to the world. As the Church, we hold fast to the spirit of unity demonstrated by respecting the worth, dignity, freedom, and distinction of every individual.

The Bible
We believe that the Bible is the Divinely inspired, infallible, authoritative Word of God. It is our guide and textbook for our Christian Faith.

Jesus Christ
We believe in:

• His eternal existence as the Second Person of the Godhead
• His virgin birth
• His sinless life
• His death on the cross for the atonement of man's sin
• His bodily resurrection from the dead
• His ascension to the right hand of God the Father
• His future return in power and glory.

Salvation
We believe that:

• Salvation is by grace, a gift of God apart from works
• Salvation requires repentance, a turning from ones own way to God's way
• Salvation Is through personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ
• All who receive Jesus Christ are born again, regenerated by the Holy Spirit and become children of God
• True salvation will be manifested by a changed life.

The Church

The Church is the body of believers consisting of all born again persons without respect to race, culture, orientation or background. Directed by Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit, the Church is taking the good news of salvation to the whole world. Our assembly is inclusive rather than exclusive and stresses:

• Love for God and one another
• Unity of all believers
• Obedience to the Holy Spirit
